About the role

Reporting into the Senior Payroll Officer, this role sits within our Financial Control team and will be responsible for the end to end administration of our payroll process.  Sportsbet

Key responsibilities include:

  • Calculate and process all aspects of employee's pays in accordance with awards, agreements, company policies and legislation.
  • Timely management of payroll queries received from staff members
  • Processing the payroll journals at each month end
  • Timely and accurate preparation of Payroll Reconciliations at each month end
  • Ad-hoc month end tasks as required
  • Preparation and lodgement of payroll related tax compliance

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 6 months minimum exposure in a full end to end payroll function that has more than 500 staff
  • Extensive usage and understanding of excel with high attention to detail
  • Strong communications skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work closely with the rest of the business, as well as a high level of internal customer support
  • Ability to manage external stakeholders and work to deadlines and under pressure
