About the role

As a senior BA in the Planning and Architecture team you will be accountable for owning early life initiatives, doing analysis to determine feasibility. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will be responsible for eliciting and analysing requirements to deliver quality solutions.

Duties Include:

• Take ownership of early life initiatives to translate ideas into an understanding of feasibility, complexity, scope and high-level understanding of value.
• Perform detailed technical/domain analysis to help drive the correct solution.
• Work with departments across the organisation to discover opportunities to streamline or re-invent business processes and see these through to completion.
• Lead a team through the breakdown of large/complex pieces of work into items for prioritisation and delivery, including working with stakeholders to compile lean canvas submissions for prioritisation.
• Facilitate effective workshops.
• Lead solution design sessions and ensure appropriate outcomes and drive a solution to most problems without escalation.
• Plan and facilitate change management activities.
• Lead and influence stakeholders & other Business Analysts.
• Occasionally undertake project management tasks during early life initiatives, managing stakeholders, communications and outcomes.

About You

• 5 + Years in a similar role
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of agile principles & techniques and the ability to communicate these to others.
• Ability to drive strategic thinking and to describe complex problems at an abstract level.
• Ability to facilitate various meetings and workshops with wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, including influencing and negotiation up to executive level.
• Good technical knowledge to understand the right tools and techniques for each project and activity.
• Experience with leading vendor engagement.
• Proven experience in complex problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
