About the role

Reporting into the Head of Automation and Payments, the Senior Payments Manager role is responsible for the day to day running of the digital payments function for our customers and ensuring strong commercials are achieved via our partners and suppliers. Leading a high performing operational team of 4, you will ensure the industry leading customer experiences, responsible for the key customer journeys of ‘Deposit’ and ‘Withdrawal’ across all our payment methods.

You will be responsible for driving product and pricing conversations with payment vendors, complete industry benchmarking, evaluate emerging opportunities and drive continuous improvement of customer payments operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operational Management of the Payments Team
• Design and deliver high impact presentations to senior leadership including (but not limited to): Payments strategy, competitor benchmarking, new innovations and commercial opportunities
• Collaborating with Product Management teams to ensure payments and product objectives are cohesive and aligned
• Daily reporting on payments function and team member performance as well as financial reconciliation
• Continuous Improvement of processes and resolution of complex customer issues

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience in payments and transactions within a digital ecommerce environment or financial services industry
• Commercially savvy with strong negotiation skills as you will be securing industry leading commercial agreements
• Strong management of external stakeholders and the ability to lead a team
• Comfortable with analysing large amounts of data and generating actionable insights
