  • Full time

About Us

At Sportsbet, we’re united behind our purpose to “Bring Excitement to Life” for our 2 million customers (and growing!). We do this by over-delivering through our commitment to fun, challenging the status quo and living our values. As part of the Flutter Group, we’re a global player, but in Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin we’re a tight knit group of 1,300 teammates (of which over half are in our Tech and Data Science teams!).

We are a significant contributor to the Australian economy through racing and sporting codes and we are committed to having a positive impact in society by supporting our customers, our communities and our employees. Our commitment to responsible gambling is genuine and demonstrated through the wide range of responsible gambling initiatives and tools.

About The Role

Reporting to the Head of Safer Gambling Compliance and Transformation within the CSRC function, the Transformation Lead will play a pivotal role in driving Sportsbet’s Safer Gambling Transformation Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of new business processes and system optimisation initiatives that will evolve our ecosystem to ensure Sportsbet continues to support customers in a meaningful and scalable way. This could include the development and phased roll out of a new alerting system, tiered intervention capabilities, case management software and exploration of new Safer Gambling tools. You will collaborate with other senior members in the wider team to develop the Safer Gambling Transformation strategy and roadmap for 2025 that materially transforms how Sportsbet approaches consumer protection.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate and drive cross-department workshops to design and scope new solutions
  • Leverage data and analytics capabilities to inform investigations and decision-making
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to seek input and feedback on proposed solutions
  • Consolidate and present proposals on solution design in senior leader forums
  • Coordinate with technology, operations and product teams as required for delivery
  • Develop a phased roll out plan, including user testing, hyper care period and workforce management plan
  • Maintain appropriate project documentation, including the rationale behind decisions, guidance, process mapping and handover as required
  • Coordinate with SMEs to ensure new solutions are designed and built to meet regulatory obligations, external expectations, internal policies and best practice

About you

You’ll be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys being proactive and adaptable.  Along with this, you will have:

  • Proven experience delivering uplift programs or change management within a technology/digital business
  • Minimum 5 years project management or strategic delivery experience
  • Experience in working with operational teams and establishing operational processes at a transformational level

  • Genuine flexible working policy with a $800 work from home office allowance
  • Weekly concierge service including free massages, manicure/nail appointments – all onsite!
