About the Role

As a Business Analyst within the Media & Content Value Stream, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our streaming, video and content experiences across Sportsbet’s platforms. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, you’ll translate business needs into actionable solutions across a range of technologies including customer-facing web and mobile platforms, back-office systems and internal tools.

You’ll be responsible for eliciting, analysing and validating requirements to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. This role involves close collaboration with feature teams including UX designers, developers and testers as well as working independently or alongside other Business Analysts.

As a Business Analyst at Sportsbet, you will be working within a Feature Team and perform the following:

  • Be the interface between stakeholders across both business and technology including development and testing teams
  • Elicit and analyse requirements from stakeholders using a variety of techniques (e.g., workshops, interviews, data analysis)
  • Maintain a high level of requirements quality throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Use data and processes during analysis to clarify and validate requirements
  • Expected to facilitate ceremonies like Backlog refinement, Sprint planning, etc

 

About You

  • Proven experience in a functional Business Analyst role.
  • Solid stakeholder management and communication skills, including influencing and negotiation.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite - JIRA and Confluence.
  • Facilitation experience for sprint planning and scrum events.
