About The Role

As our Customer Marketing Strategic Projects & Automations Manager, you'll sit at the intersection of strategy, technology and customer experience, leading high-impact initiatives that shape the future of CRM at Sportsbet. You'll drive the evolution of our customer lifecycle programs, unlock new automation and personalisation capabilities, and partner with teams across Marketing, Technology, Data and Product to deliver smarter, more connected customer experiences. Reporting into the Head of Customer Marketing, you will lead a highly capable team of 3 and join the wider Marketing & Media team.

This is a role for someone who loves turning big ideas into scalable solutions, thrives on solving complex challenges, and gets excited by using data, technology and innovation to drive meaningful business outcomes. You'll also lead a talented team while influencing the direction of our CRM capability and customer engagement strategy.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead strategic CRM projects that enhance customer engagement, improve capability and deliver long-term business value.
  • Shape and optimise customer lifecycle programs across onboarding, retention and reactivation, using data and automation to create more personalised experiences.
  • Partner with Marketing Technology (MarTech), Data and Technology teams to implement new CRM tools, features and capabilities that scale performance.
  • Drive innovation across CRM operations through advanced automation, dynamic content, personalisation and emerging engagement opportunities.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team while influencing key stakeholders across the business to deliver customer-first outcomes

Please note, this is a 12 month maternity leave cover.



About You

While we are big on development and offer on the job training, we want to set you up for success. Along with a great attitude, it would be ideal that you have:

  • 5+ years' experience in CRM, customer marketing or lifecycle marketing roles, ideally within a complex or regulated environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CRM and MarTech platforms, including customer engagement technologies.
  • Expertise in lifecycle strategy, customer segmentation, personalisation and marketing automation.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end projects, driving adoption of new capabilities and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen and the ability to translate data into compelling stories and actionable insights

Essentially, you're a natural collaborator who can manage conflicting priorities, project manage and influence across diverse teams whilst confidently communicating complex ideas to a wide range of stakeholders.
