About The Role

At Sportsbet, we bring excitement to life for our customers, and our Darwin Contact Centre is right at the heart of it. We’re on the lookout for Fixed Term Full-Time Customer Service Advisors to join us during one of our busiest and most exciting periods in sport.

Whether you’re on a working holiday or looking for your next adventure, this is a great opportunity to build new skills, meet an awesome team, and be part of the action.

You’ll support customers across phone, email and live chat, helping with betting enquiries, taking inbound telephone bets and solving problems with care, clarity and confidence. You’ll also work closely with teams like Payments, Security and Safer Gambling, making sure every customer interaction is smooth and well supported.

This is a fast-paced, team-first environment where no two days are the same, and where you’ll be backed by supportive leaders and teammates who want you to succeed.

Our rosters include evenings, weekends and public holidays, with peak periods across major sporting events including the Spring Racing Carnival.

Please note: You must be available for 3 weeks of full-time training from 4 August 2026 (including Saturdays).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting customers across phone, email and live chat
  • Processing inbound telephone bets accurately and efficiently
  • Solving customer queries with empathy and attention to detail
  • Keeping clear, accurate notes in our system
  • Staying across bet types, key events and industry trends
  • Working with internal teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Taking on new skills and supporting the wider team where needed

About You

You enjoy helping people and take pride in creating positive, memorable experiences. You’re someone who stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

You don’t need to know everything about betting or sport when you start, we’ll teach you. What matters most is your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

This role can be a great fit if you’re:

  • Looking for a short-term, full-time role (5 months)
  • Returning to work or looking for a supportive environment to grow your confidence
  • Someone who enjoys structured work but also a fun, high-energy team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full-time working rights in Australia for the duration of the contract
  • Previous customer service experience (contact centre experience a bonus)
  • Confident communication skills in a phone-based environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to KPIs
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters including evenings and weekends
  • Solid computer skills (Outlook, Excel, web-based systems)
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset
  • Commitment to doing things the right way (quality, compliance and continuous improvement

The Perks

We work hard and play hard, so along with a competitive salary and generous performance-based bonus for permanent staff members, here’s some of our other perks:

  • 25 days annual leave (that’s right, an additional week’s leave!)

  • Hybrid working policy

  • Industry leading Parental Leave support program with 26 weeks paid leave for Primary Carers and no wait time. We also have a progressive return to work benefit for your first 6 months back: come back for 3 days, get paid for 4; come back for 4 days, get paid for 5.

  • Access to outstanding career development programs, including expert-led internal training

  • Free breakfast, daily fresh fruit and weekly rotating socials

  • Discounted health insurance and free flu jabs yearly.

We review applications within the first two weeks, so apply now! Check out our Instagram and TikTok (@lifeatsportsbet), LinkedIn, and careers website for more information about our inclusive culture.
