About the Role

This internal secondment opportunity is ideal for Melbourne‑based team members who are passionate about learning, capability uplift, and improving how knowledge is delivered across the business. As an Instructional Designer within the Learning & Quality team, you’ll create clear, engaging, and practical learning solutions that support operational excellence, quality outcomes, and customer experience. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to translate complex information into effective learning content that supports performance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain engaging learning solutions, including digital modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and assessments
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create practical, effective, and measurable learning
  • Partner with Quality, Operations, SMEs, and Leaders to identify learning needs and define clear learning outcomes
  • Review and refresh existing learning content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current processes and regulatory requirements
  • Support the rollout of new initiatives, process changes, and capability uplift programs
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning frameworks, standards, and governance

 

About You

You’re Melbourne‑based, curious, collaborative, and motivated by helping others learn and perform at their best. You enjoy simplifying complex information, working closely with stakeholders, and continuously improving how learning supports quality, capability, and customer outcomes. You’re keen to build your experience in instructional design and make a meaningful impact through learning.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience in learning design, training, quality, or a related capability‑building role
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging learning content
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practice
  • Experience designing digital learning, such as eLearning, LMS content, or blended learning solutions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • High attention to detail, particularly in regulated or compliance‑focused environments
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for learner experience
  • Experience with learning platforms, authoring tools, or quality frameworks is highly regarded but not essential.
