About the Role 

At Sportsbet, delivering exceptional customer experiences through data and innovation is at our core. Through aligning to the Sportsbet vision & strategy, you will play a key role in supporting the prioritisation, commercial management, and analysis of Sportsbet trading products, both pre-delivery and in-market, to exceed customer needs and business goals. You will be obsessed with how our customers experience our products, using data and your strong analytical capability to identify and solve the right problems at each stage of the betting journey. You will support the needs and development of the Sports & Racing trading teams through driving improvements in the data space, upskilling & providing commercial insights around business performance.

  • Good mathematical competency; PowerBI or dashboard experience preferred 

  • Wagering industry experience preferred but not essential 

 

Key Requirements  

Data Analysis & Prioritisation 

  • Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of Risk & Trade datasets to identify & effectively communicate betting & margin trends, price assurance risks, and opportunities to optimise business performance 

  • Develop actionable insights and dashboards that inform decision-making across risk, trading, and commercial functions 

  • Work alongside data stakeholders to represent Risk & Trade in capturing, prioritising, and maintaining data needs and backlog items through strong organisational skills 

  • Support the development of Sports & Racing trading team members, through upskilling in areas of data analysis, including SQL 

Commercial Management  

  • Support & drive the ideation, prioritisation & delivery of Racing products, initiatives & models to ensure they are aligned to the company strategy while also adhering to regulatory requirements 

  • Analyse and evaluate new trade initiatives, managing performance reporting and contributing to forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning 

  • Deliver Winning Customer Propositions through liaising & collaborating with key stakeholders to better understand customer pain points & potential solutions
