About The Role

We have multiple positions available for Senior and Junior Full stack Software Engineers to join our agile development team and help build great customer experiences by contributing to front-end code (React, TypeScript) and supporting backend applications (Node.js, Java, Kotlin).  

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will contribute to commercial success through the development and delivery of bespoke digital products. You will apply software engineering principles during problem analysis and solution design, and understand and leverage technology platforms, software frameworks, delivery tools and methods.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and continuously improve outcomes in the software domain.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support end to end systems analysis by surfacing cross domain constraints, challenges and opportunities.
  • Engage technical stakeholders across Sportsbet regarding achievable outcomes to enhance potential of business performance through technology.
  • Contribute to detailed technical designs across domains, aligned with Solution Architectures, Domain and PBS best practice.
  • Engage stakeholders in the use of, and value in, technical standards and methods.
  • Adopt an AI-first engineering mindset, applying AI tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and customer value.

About You

While we are big on development and offer on the job training, we want to set you up for success. Along with a great attitude, it would be ideal that you have:

  • Experience with Java programming language and Spring Framework.
  • Front end Experience with React/React Native and Typescript.
  • Experience with all stages of product, platform and system lifecycles.
  • Exposure to and familiar with AI, and a curiosity to explore how AI can be incorporated into the day-to-day activities.
  • Experience with deploying and maintaining applications on AWS desirable.

For the Senior Software Engineer role, we are seeking proven experience in technical ownership and leadership.
