About The Role

Join our NRL Trading team as a Sports Trading Operator, where you'll play a hands-on role supporting the delivery and growth of our NRL portfolio. Working within Risk, Value & Trading, you'll monitor live sporting events, manage trading operations, utilise proprietary models, and help manage risk in real time. This is a role for genuine sports fans who thrive in fast-paced environments, with weekend and evening shifts forming a core part of the roster. During the NRL off-season, you'll also support other sports including Cricket and NBL.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Monitor pre-match and live markets using proprietary trading models to support day-to-day trading operations.
  • Manage live sporting events, making real-time decisions to support pricing accuracy and risk management.
  • Collaborate closely with risk teams to monitor liabilities and support optimal risk outcomes during events.
  • Contribute ideas to improve and evolve NRL products, supporting long-term growth and success.
  • Work a roster that includes regular evening and weekend shifts, with strong coverage required during key sporting events.

About You

You're a passionate sports fan with a genuine interest in NRL, Cricket and NBL, and you're excited by the opportunity to be on the tools during live events. You stay calm under pressure, love solving problems, and have a natural curiosity that drives you to learn and improve. With strong attention to detail and great communication skills, you enjoy working collaboratively while making informed decisions in fast-moving environments. You're comfortable working evening and weekend shifts and are motivated by being at the heart of the action when sport is live.
