  • Full Time Fixed Term

About Us

At Sportsbet, we’re all about bringing excitement to life for our 2.4 million customers. As part of the global Flutter Group, we’re a tight-knit team of 1,300 in Melbourne, Sydney, and Darwin, passionate about challenging the status quo. We’re proud to be recognized as one of LinkedIn’s Top 25 Companies and one of the Top 10 Workplaces for Women.

We’re an inclusive employer who celebrates diversity and is committed to helping you thrive. Whether you’re looking for flexibility, career growth, or a supportive environment, we’re here to help you succeed.

Committed To Responsible Gambling

Our commitment to responsible gambling is genuine and demonstrated through the wide range of responsible gambling initiatives and tools.

We’re proud to be the leaders in responsible gambling in our industry, not just locally, but globally.

About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Executive Assistant on a 12-month fixed term contract to partner with our Chief Information Officer (CIO) and support the wider Technology Leadership Team (TLT) as required. This role suits someone who loves variety, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and enjoys keeping people and priorities running smoothly.

You’ll be the go-to person for keeping things on track for a self-sufficient CIO — managing calendars, organizing occasional travel, and ensuring meetings and team rhythms happen without a hitch. You’ll also help coordinate leadership events, handle expenses, and keep everyone connected across teams and time zones.

Your day could consist of:

  • Managing the CIO’s diary, travel, and expenses with care and attention to detail
  • Coordinating the cadence of TLT meetings and ensuring actions are followed up
  • Organising occasional travel and logistics for group function visits or events like tech conferences
  • Building strong relationships with team members and sharing insights that help the CIO stay connected and informed.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across regions occasionally adjusting hours to suit time zones.
  • Balance initiative and discretion — knowing when to step in and when to give space.
  • Partner closely with the EA to the CEO to align calendars, priorities, and communications, provide backup and continuity during absences, support the wider EA cohort through shared best practices and events, and serve as the go-to for systems, templates, and digital tools.

What we’re looking for

You’re a natural organiser who enjoys solving problems and keeping things moving. You’re adaptable, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with digital tools rather than paper. Most of all, you’re someone who brings good energy to the people around you.

We’d love to see:

  • Demonstrated EA experience supporting at an Executive level
  • Experience managing complex calendars, travel, and team logistics
  • Confidence using a variety of tech platforms
  • Great communication and relationship-building skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality of output
  • Advanced computer skills – MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Why You’ll Love Working Here

Along with a competitive salary and generous performance-based bonus, here’s some of our other benefits:

  • 25 days annual leave (plus flexible working options)
  • Access to outstanding career development programs, including expert-led internal training and external learning opportunities
  • Onsite concierge services, free meals, social events and access to the Sportsbet Salon
  • Hack Days: Participate in our hack days, where creativity and collaboration lead to exciting new ideas and projects.
