About the role

Here at Sportsbet we need engineers who can take ownership and work together with their awesome and dedicated team to solve problems, deliver solutions, and then test, monitor, and maintain their operation and performance.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will enable the continued product and platform development of our universal (Web / Android / iOS) front-end by contributing to customer facing code in our React JS / React Native / Android / iOS / HTML / CSS / TypeScript / NodeJS to meet the growing demand of our front-end clients.

As the Front-End Software Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional agile development team, contributing to the wider development lifecycle by submitting and reviewing pull requests and participating in continuous delivery and release management. You will be involved in designing, coding, testing, and packaging discrete software components, and developing valuable functional outcomes in line with best practices.

About You

• Strong experience in common JS Libraries & Frameworks – especially React JS AND/OR React Native
• An initiative-taker and enthusiastic about working with our stakeholders to build and deliver amazing customer experiences
• Hungry for product outcomes and able to work with ambiguity
• Creative, lateral, and lean thinker with a passion for technology
• Collaborative, team player, product-oriented and influential
• Lifelong learner – and can learn on the fly proactively
• Strong JavaScript knowledge
• Exposure to or keen interest to work with TypeScript
