We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead the development of our MLB Pricing Platform —an innovative product at the intersection of sports, data, and technology innovation. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product features, prioritize features, and deliver seamless, engaging user experiences tailored to the exciting world of Major League Baseball. Reporting into the Product Manager / Product Director, this is a key role in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for building out requirements from the team, write user stories & acceptance criteria, work closely with tech whilst prioritizing and executing the delivery/backlog to streamline the execution of priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and facilitating product discovery workshops. Taking ownership of early life initiatives to translate ideas into an understanding of feasibility, complexity, scope, and high-level understanding of customer outcomes.
  • Obtaining and analyzing requirements from stakeholders to ensure solutions are both innovative and fit for purpose.
  • Designing and implementing appropriate story and backlog management structures for a project or team and organizing workshops with stakeholders to understand their pain points and offer solutions.
  • Performing feature acceptance testing and providing sign-off that acceptance criteria are being met by the deliverables of technology team.

About You

  • Experience as a Product Owner within a digital / technology focused business or similar industry.
  • Proven business analysis experience with the ability to build out requirements, write user stories, and work closely with technology to execute on the delivery and bring the product to life.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables.
  • A strong passion for sports and sports betting, driving customer-focused decisions.
  • Understanding of the wagering or betting landscape (specially US Sports) will be highly regarded.
