About Us

At Sportsbet, we’re united behind our purpose to “Bring Excitement to Life” for our 2 million customers (and growing!). We do this by over-delivering through our commitment to fun, challenging the status quo and living our values. As part of the Flutter Group, we’re a global player, but in Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin we’re a tight knit group of 1,300 teammates (of which over half are in our Tech and Data Science teams!).

We are a significant contributor to the Australian economy through racing and sporting codes and we are committed to having a positive impact in society by supporting our customers, our communities and our employees. Our commitment to responsible gambling is genuine and demonstrated through the wide range of responsible gambling initiatives and tools.

In 2023, we were a recipient of LinkedIn’s Top 25 Companies for our focus on career development and awarded the Top 10 Workplaces for Women through Work180. Our commitment to making Sportsbet the best place to work is never-ending.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Internal Audit Manager to join our growing Internal Audit team, which is an integral part of the broader Flutter Group Internal Audit function, on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

As the Internal Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the planning, execution, and completion of the annual internal audit plan, specifically focusing on operational audits.

Responsibilities Include

  • Managing audit teams on specific projects and delivering timely results.
  • Communicating and reporting audit findings to business management with clarity and professionalism.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including executives, staff members, and the Global Flutter Group Internal Audit function.
  • Providing valuable advice and insights on risk management to departments across the Group.
  • Demonstrating leadership and expertise in internal auditing, promoting a continuous improvement culture.
  • Developing and implementing audit strategies that contribute to the overall success of the business.

About You

  • You have proven experience in planning, managing, and delivering audits, preferably within a Big 4 environment or similar.
  • Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have a keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to identify areas of improvement within complex systems.
  • You are comfortable working with data analytics tools, and your aptitude for adopting new technologies will allow you to bring fresh perspectives to audit projects.
  • Your ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive results is key to your success.
  • You are committed to continuous professional development and staying up to date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
  • Your experience in the gambling or other highly regulated industries is an advantage, but your passion and adaptability are just as important.

If you're looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and exciting industry, we want to hear from you! Apply now to join a company that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
