The primary purpose of the role is the delivery of effective, accurate and timely management for HR administration, coordination and first line advice to Sportsbet leaders and employees.

About The Role

Reporting into the Head of Performance and Reward, this role will provide assistance to the wider People & Culture Centres of Excellence team on cyclical activities such as rem review and end of year performance ratings as well manage and maintain HR processes and documentation throughout the employee lifecycle on-boarding (background checks), internal movements (letter generation, probation, parental leave and off-boarding

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure that master data is accurate in our people system  (BambooHR) in relation to fixed term members, contract types, parental leaver, secondments, org structures etc.
  • Deliver accurate first line advice/ responses to various queries such as policy interpretation, process and systems “how to/ where to find” (i.e. how to submit leave, what is my leave balance, how do I access X ect.) through a shared inbox.
  • Maintenance of accurate and complete employee files as the central repository of all documents related to the employment lifecycle.
  • Liaise with the Payroll Team on fortnightly pay processing and pay related queries
  • Establish a positive rapport with colleagues (HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, OD) and employees and ensure information is communicated clearly and appropriately.
  • Monthly reporting and follow up on upcoming visa expires, including VEVO checks for those on visas.

Please note, this is a 3 month fixed term contract. We are open to part time or full time.
