About The Role

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Full-stack Engineer to sit at the centre of Sportsbet’s engineering ecosystem - elevating how our teams build, ship and scale software. This role is all about enabling engineering excellence through world-class tooling, with a strong focus on GitHub, AWS, and modern development practices.

You’ll play a critical role in shaping and optimising the tooling used across the broader Sportsbet tech community, empowering teams to be more efficient, self-sufficient, and innovative. From driving platform improvements to embedding AI into engineering workflows, you’ll help keep us firmly at the forefront of technology.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the engineering tooling ecosystem used across Sportsbet, with a strong focus on GitHub
• Maintain and optimise the GitHub environment across all technology teams, continuously delivering new features and improvements
• Mentor and support junior engineers, helping uplift capability and drive best practice adoption
• Partner across the business to contribute to and support key initiatives across the broader technology suite
• Champion engineering excellence by embedding modern practices, automation, and AI into day-to-day development

About You

You’re a Senior Full-stack Engineer who thrives in a fast-moving, innovative environment and loves being at the cutting edge of technology. You bring a deep understanding of engineering practices and enjoy enabling others to do their best work through great tooling and guidance.

You’re naturally collaborative, an excellent communicator, and a true team player who’s passionate about mentoring others. You’re curious about the role AI is playing in modern engineering and actively seek out ways to bring new ideas into practice.

What You Will Bring

• Deep engineering experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, with strong backend and systems knowledge
• Proven hands-on experience with GitHub, including managing and optimising enterprise environments
• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern development frameworks
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-native technologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and support teams across the business
