About The Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist who is passionate about people and keen to expand or leverage their learning and capability experience. Sitting within Customer Operations, you'll lead a small team and play a key role in driving workforce capability, employee experience and operational people outcomes. While learning and capability is a significant focus of the role, we're looking for someone with a strong HR generalist foundation who can confidently partner with leaders, provide practical people advice and help deliver strategic workforce initiatives

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the development and execution of learning and capability initiatives that build workforce capability and support business performance.
  • Partner with leaders to provide HR advice and support across workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations and people processes.
  • Coach and support leaders through people-related challenges, change initiatives and organisational priorities.
  • Lead and develop a small team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Use data, insights and stakeholder feedback to drive capability uplift, employee engagement and operational excellence.

About You

While we are big on development and offer on the job training, we want to set you up for success.

You're a commercially minded HR professional who thrives on building strong relationships and helping leaders create high-performing teams. You bring broad HR generalist experience and are excited by the opportunity to spend a significant portion of your time driving learning and capability outcomes. Whether your background includes learning and development, organisational development or you've developed a strong interest in this space through your HR career, you're motivated by developing people, influencing change and delivering practical business outcomes. Leadership experience is beneficial, but we're equally interested in individuals who have the capability and desire to step into team leadership.

What You Will Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in a HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or People Advisory role.
  • Exposure to, interest in, or experience delivering learning, capability, organisational development or workforce capability initiatives.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, influencing and partnering with leaders to achieve people and business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting core HR activities, including performance management, workforce planning, talent acquisition and employee lifecycle processes.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment.
