About The Role:

We’re looking for a Service Reliability Manager to join our Technology team at Sportsbet. In this leadership role, you’ll lead our Service Operations and Performance Testing functions, ensuring the reliability, stability, and performance of our platforms. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining seamless customer experiences, leading major incident management, driving operational excellence, and identifying opportunities to improve performance through monitoring, automation, and innovation. This is a full-time Melbourne-based position with on-call responsibilities as part of the Duty Manager rotation.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead Service Operations and Performance Testing teams to deliver reliable, high-performing systems and services.
  • Coordinate major incident management activities, service communications, and service management practices across the business.
  • Oversee end-to-end and application-level performance and reliability testing to ensure platform stability.
  • Proactively monitor production environments, identify performance trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage operational tooling, licensing, and associated costs while enhancing efficiency through automation and modern technologies.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience leading Service Operations or similar technology-focused teams within a 24/7 environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to set a vision, develop teams, and drive operational outcomes.
  • Experience managing major incidents, service management processes, and operational support functions.
  • Exposure to performance engineering, site reliability, monitoring, automation, and modern operational practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across technical and business teams.
