About The Role

Reporting to the Head of Talent, will be responsible for leading a team of Talent Acquisition professionals who recruit end-to-end and bring various experience to their roles. Day to day this will include allocation of work, resource management, streamlining processes, solutioning for queries raised and leadership of the team.

Given deep experience in the talent acquisition space, the role will as required be involved in managing the recruitment of more senior roles in the organisation through various sourcing means and fostering relationships with senior stakeholders to facilitate this.

A further core responsibility of the role will be to manage aspects associated with the commercials of the team including components of the budget. Coupled with this there will be a requirement to manage all aspects of reporting in the Talent Acquisition space including the evolution of metrics and analysis of key data to derive insights to inform future decisions and ways of working. The role will lead on the on-going evolution of the Talent Acquisition service offering, the maturity of capability to meet this and solutioning of team operating model aspect to meet business requirements.

A final key pillar of focus will be to actively contribute to the strategic direction of the Talent & Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) space as well as operating as a thought leader in relation to strategy in the Talent Acquisition space specifically.

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead the transformation of our Talent Acquisition function, playing a key role in shaping the future of hiring at Sportsbet. You will work closely with the People & Culture team, business leaders, and hiring managers to build diverse talent pools, enhance candidate and hiring manager experiences, and implement best-in-class hiring practices that align with the broader business strategy.

About You

  • Strong experience managing a team including support growth opportunities, managing performance, and conducting coaching conversations.
  • Experience evolving Talent Acquisition operating models, aligned to services and capabilities required to be delivered.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing senior business leaders.
  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, including managing diverse recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Strong understanding of AI and recruitment technology trends and how they can be leveraged to improve TA outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build diverse talent pipelines and successfully engage passive candidates.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess data and make strategic decisions.
  • Deep understanding of the importance of employment brand and development of an Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
