About the role

As a Business Analyst at Sportsbet, you will be working within a feature team with two weekly sprint deliveries. Acting as a liaison with the business, you will be responsible for translating their needs for a variety of technologies including back office, customer facing (web and mobile) and internal systems.

You will work with other Business Analysts and will collaborate closely with members of the feature team and technology including UX designers, developers, and testers.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Be the interface between stakeholders across business and technology.
• Elicit and analyse requirements from stakeholders using a variety of techniques. 
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to determine the most appropriate technical solution and provide analysis on trade-offs between usability, functionality, technical pattern and performance needs. 
• Work closely with senior stakeholders in other teams to prioritise work, and to manage risks and dependencies.
• Live and breathe Agile ways of working: backlog grooming, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, retrospectives, mid sprint review, stories, sprints, Kanban, velocity, burndown charts are common terms to you.
• Collaborate to create and evolve the BA capability standards and methodology.
• Provide learnings back to the community, to contribute to the uplifting of skills and knowledge of the BA community.

About You

We are looking for a Front-end Business Analyst (mobile apps, services API) who is a self-starter and passionate about what they do. You can tackle complexity, then break it down to its fundamental deliverables that make sense to developers and stakeholders.

You are a team player who cares about and uplifts your teammates. On top of that all, you welcome a good challenge and have no issues balancing a few deliverables in a dynamic environment.
