About The Role

Reporting into the General Manager – Customer Marketing & Media, this role is a senior leadership position that is responsible for creating and delivering on our Traditional / Digital Media strategy and investment footprint. It is at the heart of Sportsbet Marketing effort, leading strategy in how we best connect with our audience now and into the future, considering market dynamics, partnerships, trends, channels, technology and innovation. 

The role has a core focus on growth (marketing metrics, customer & commercial) and market share. Leading a team of 8 media experts, the role is also accountable for a portion of digital media channels which are either connected to traditional partners e.g. Ch7 Linear/ 7 Plus BVOD or digital partnerships e.g. AFL & NRL code digital assets, and other online video platforms e.g. SVOD, YouTube etc. The role is responsible for strategy, planning, buying, reporting & optimisation. Having a dynamic combination of media, ad tech & commercial expertise alongside strong stakeholder management and leadership excellence will be the key success for this role.

Responsibilities Include:

• Accountable for the Mass Media budget, strategy & execution
• Owner of Digital Media Marketing Technology ecosystem to support delivery and measurement of Digital Media
• Foster great Media & Agency relationships as well as senior internal stakeholders
• Drive the evolution of Sportsbet’s Mass Media strategy into the future
