  • Full Time Fixed Term

About Us

At Sportsbet, we’re united behind our purpose to “Bring Excitement to Life” for our 2 million customers (and growing!). We do this by over-delivering through our commitment to fun, challenging the status quo and living our values. As part of the Flutter Group, we’re a global player, but in Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin we’re a tight knit group of 1,300 teammates (of which over half are in our Tech and Data Science teams!).

We are a significant contributor to the Australian economy through racing and sporting codes and we are committed to having a positive impact in society by supporting our customers, our communities, and our employees. Our commitment to responsible gambling is genuine and demonstrated through the wide range of responsible gambling initiatives and tools.

In 2023, we were a recipient of LinkedIn’s Top 25 Companies for our focus on career development and awarded the Top 10 Workplaces for Women through Work180. Our commitment to making Sportsbet the best place to work is never-ending.

About the Role

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract and provides impactful support across the entire employee lifecycle at Sportsbet, collaborating with Senior leaders and team members. As a strategic HR partner, you'll leverage your HR expertise and business understanding to play an integral part of creating a positive employee experience.

Partnering with both commercial & operations focused teams, you will offer expert guidance on employee engagement, talent development, leadership coaching, and employee relations. You’ll work closely with People & Culture and other key stakeholders to deliver meaningful HR programs and critical cyclical processes, including performance reviews and remuneration cycles. A key part of the role is building strong relationships across all levels, providing timely advice and coaching, and continuously improving our people experience.

As a trusted advisor, you’ll support the Senior HRBP in shaping and executing divisional people plans, helping to foster a positive, high-performance culture at Sportsbet. You will take ownership of strategic and impactful HR projects, driving the successful delivery of employee engagement initiatives, change programs, and diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives.

In this role you’ll partner with senior leaders, team members, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of strategic projects and critical HR operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage and deliver multiple HR processes and programs
  • Expertise across various HR disciplines, including performance management, ER, recruitment, and organisational development
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-change environments, with a focus on results
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR (or related discipline) with experience in front-line HR and generalist HR roles in fast-growing organisations
