You will work with senior stakeholders across the business to agree on priorities, manage risk and dependencies, and provide leadership to other business analysts.

This is a 5-month FTC opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of early life initiatives to translate ideas into an understanding of feasibility, complexity, scope, solution design and value.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders in other teams to prioritise work, and to manage risks and dependencies.
  • Own and maintain the Initiative backlog – communicate the status of this backlog to key stakeholders and perform high-level discovery on items before handover to delivery teams.
  • Set the standard for business analysis documentation and drive consistency across artefacts at various stages of the backlog.
  • Lead and contribute to the uplift of BA practices and ways of working within the Sports Value Stream.

About You

While we are big on development and offer on the job training, we want to set you up for success.

You enjoy solving meaningful problems, working collaboratively across teams and lifting the capability of those around you. You are adaptable, delivery-focused and motivated by delivering tangible value to the team and broader organisation.

  • Proven experience as a generalist Business Analyst with specialism in techniques such as Acceptance and Evaluations Criteria, Backlog Management, Non-Functional Requirements Analysis, and User Stories.
  • Excellent communication skills, including influencing and negotiation.
  • Good technical knowledge to understand the right tools and techniques for each project and activity.
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Experience dealing with stakeholders, both internal to the team and external senior members within the business.
