About The Role
Responsibilities Include:
- Trade live US sports, primarily MLB and College Basketball, delivering world‑class in‑play betting experiences
- Drive and manage automated odds while monitoring markets and managing risk exposure
- Monitor customer activity and betting patterns, escalating insights to senior traders where required
- Price markets and manage group liability and overall risk position during live events
- Monitor competitor markets and respond to significant or unusual market movements
- Stay across real‑time sports information and react quickly to changing conditions
- Collaborate closely with FanDuel Trading and Risk teams to achieve personal and team live betting KPIs
About You
You’re a passionate US sports fan with a sharp analytical mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You enjoy working at pace, can juggle multiple priorities in real time, and take pride in accuracy and attention to detail. You’re a strong team player who loves learning, enjoys fast decision‑making, and is excited by the energy of live sports trading.
What You Will Bring
- Strong knowledge of and passion for MLB and US College Sports, with interest in NBA and NFL
- A solid understanding of betting, statistics, and probability
- Ability to multitask and react quickly in a fast‑moving, high‑pressure environment
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Excel is highly regarded
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends
- Industry experience is not essential, as full training is provided
- A customer‑first mindset, curiosity to learn, and a positive, collaborative approach
