About The Role

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a cross-functional feature team responsible for delivering high-impact customer outcomes across Sportsbet’s digital product ecosystem. You are an Engineering Manager looking to develop your management and leadership skills and capabilities. 

In this role, you’ll focus on developing talent, strengthening team dynamics, and championing modern agile ways of working, while partnering closely with Product, Technology, and Platform leaders. You’ll balance delivery excellence with long-term platform health, advocate for engineering best practice, and play a key role in shaping how complex, high-volume systems are built and evolved.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead a high-performing cross-functional team who collaborate to deliver a broad range of initiatives across Sportsbet
  • Adoption and championing of agile ways of working
  • Contribute to the Long-Term health of the ecosystem by balancing delivery of business outcomes in parallel with platform investment
  • Have an understanding of and advocating for engineering excellence principles
  • Facilitate key agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and release planning
  • Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, mentoring and performance conversations
