About The Role - FIXED TERM

This newly created Finance position sits within the Flutter APAC Finance team, based out of Sportsbet’s Melbourne office. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the consolidation and financial management of Flutter APAC’s key brands — including Sportsbet Australia, Junglee in India; as well as future M&A activity as we expand across the region.

You will bring strong numerical, reporting, and commercial skills to help ensure the APAC division delivers to the highest standards. You are an experienced Accountant that can deliver exceptional accounting, technical and insightful outcomes at pace, in a collaborative and seriously fun environment. 

Financially you will play a lead role in Month End Close and Budgeting and Forecasting of the Group.   Including the consolidation of the annual budget, quarterly and rolling - monthly forecasts, and long-term planning.   You will be an expert in Hyperion and Oracle. You will also be the owner of key Strategic business models, utilizing your extensive Microsoft Excel skills to deliver insight and analysis to aid management decision making. You will be exposed to strategic Projects and the financial modelling therein. Strategically, you will play a key role in the transformation of Sportsbet and Flutter APAC’s FP&A transformation project.  Improving processes, system utilization and the use of AI to improve efficiency and impact of the FP&A function.

Your communication skills will set you above, you will hold relationships with key stakeholders locally with Sportsbet Australia and across APAC and the UK with our parent company. You’re passionate about Sports, Financial Modelling and thrive in an every-changing Global environment.  There is a real opportunity for the right person to shape this role and add significant value across the business.  

About You

•             CPA or CA professional qualification

•             Extensive experience in Hyperion and Oracle Fusion is required

•             Power BI data analysis skills will be highly regarded

•             Experience with large multi-department general ledger systems and reporting tools

•             At least 3 years experience
