About The Role

Reporting into the Head of Reporting & Performance, this role sits within the wider Finance team and plays a key role in supporting day to day performance reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities. We have 2 brand new roles available which exist to support core performance, insights and forecasting tasks, enabling the broader team to focus more deeply on strategic initiatives, including AI enabled analytics and the revenue forecast projects.

The role will spend time focusing on delivering key insights into performance and customer generosity versus forecasts and underlying metrics that impact business momentum. The successful applicant will be working very closely with the Finance business partners and our Risk and Trading team in developing highly detailed data stories using Sportsbet data.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the production of regular performance reports across key commercial and financial metrics
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and drivers
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Support forecast updates across key metrics including turnover, net revenue, and customer activity

Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

 

About You

While we are big on development and offer on the job training, we want to set you up for success. Along with a great attitude, it would be ideal that you have:

  • Minimum two years’ experience working in an analytical, commercial, or consulting role with exposure to commercial analysis, business KPIs and budgeting.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, accurate and insightful reports, analysis and forecasts with an exceptional level of attention to detail.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, e.g., Power BI, SQL
