About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Research, this role sits within TSCO and is responsible for developing and managing key components of our customer research program. You’ll play a central role in running our core tracking and regular strategic research, alongside ad hoc projects, delivering insights that genuinely influence decision making. As a quantitative researcher with a strategic mindset, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to embed customer-led thinking and drive meaningful change.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver core tracking and regular strategic research programs end to end
  • Run research projects from initial brief through to final insight presentation
  • Take and shape briefs, including reverse briefing where required
  • Design questionnaires and guide insight generation, reporting, and storytelling
  • Analyse quantitative data to uncover clear, actionable business insights
  • Partner with agency research providers to deliver ad hoc projects end to end
  • Manage multiple research projects concurrently, balancing priorities and deadlines

 

About You

You’re a curious, commercially minded researcher who enjoys solving complex problems and challenging the status quo. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate confidently, and build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated by delivering insights that drive real business impact. You think beyond the immediate brief, staying future-focused and constantly considering how research can better support evolving business goals.

What you’ll bring

  • Two or more years’ experience in a quantitative research role, agency or client side
  • Strong experience delivering end to end research projects autonomously
  • Proven ability to design surveys and analyse quantitative research data
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and SPSS or Q
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including data visualisation
  • Experience working with research agencies as delivery partners
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Psychology, or Statistics
